CPL enters into multi-year agreement with Hospice Society to support their fabulous work
CPL Fuels is delighted to announce their support for Irish Hospice Foundation (IHF), a national charity that addresses dying, death and bereavement in Ireland. IHF’s vision is an Ireland where people facing end of life or bereavement, and those who care for them, are provided with the care and support that they need.
Niall McGuinness, Managing Director, of CPL Fuels Ireland, commented, “we have all been touched by cancer and understand the effects it has on us as families and as friends to those that have gone through it. I have no doubt that many of us have been touched by the fabulous work of the Hospice society and we are delighted to have signed this multi-year agreement and hope that it will assist the society in their plans for the years ahead.”
“We are looking forward to working with CPL Fuels, the money raised will play a vital role in helping us to continue our work providing end-of-life care and bereavement support to people in Ireland. 85% of our funding comes from voluntary donations, the generosity of corporate partners is crucial to us”. Helen McVeigh, Director of Fundraising.
CPL Fuels and their customers are supporting essential programmes, such as IHF Nurses for Night Care. This is a national service for people with illnesses other than cancer who wish to spend their final days at home with their loved ones. In 2020 IHF provided 2,438 nights of care and supported 800 families.
